Our Team
Arlene. Position: Office Manager. Arlene has been with our practice for near 20 years. She is head of the management and human resources division of our practice. Her responsibilities involve the overall management and organization of the practice from a business perspective. When there are questions related to our office, payments, or our administration, Arlene is your advocate.
Tammy. Position: Patient Coordinator. Tammy has been an integral member of our practice for nearly 20 years. Tammy is our chief patient coordinator and treatment facilitator and will ensure that your treatment is facilitated to meet the demands of your busy schedule. She is highly skilled in the management of patient scheduling, procedural care provided by the doctors and in the overall management of your care in our office.
Charlotte. Position: Patient Coordinator. Charlotte has been part of our team for 10 years. She is a patient coordinator for both Drs. Rosenfeld and Mandelaris. She has been part of health care for over 30 years and has been involved with the Advocate Health Care system (including our office) for most of her career.
Lola. Position: Insurance Coordinator and Patient Advocate. Lola has been in the dental field for over 30 years and with our practice for nearly 10 of them. She is a graduate of Loyola University, School of Dentistry, where she obtained a certificate in dental assisting. Her assisting career has included general dentistry, orthodontics and periodontics. She currently leads our referral relations and education department which involves organizing and coordinating all continuing education seminars sponsored by Drs. Rosenfeld and Mandelaris. In addition, she is the liaison between our patients and their dental insurance companies. Lola will work on your behalf to achieve the maximum benefits available provided by your employer selected dental plans or other dental insurance.
Marcia. Position: Surgical Assistant. Marcia has been a surgical assistant for our practice for over 10 years and attended Harper Community College. She has been the primary surgical assistant in thousands of oral surgery procedures for both Drs. Rosenfeld and Mandelaris. She was actively involved in the alpha and beta testing of the Biomet 3i(CORPORATION) Navigator system as well as when our practice begin using CT guided surgery in 2002 (the first in this country). Her efforts and accomplishments have been recognized by the Biomet 3i corporation when they invited her to author an article to surgical assistants throughout the world which is currently in press. She leads the surgical nursing department and is on the assistant staff with operating room privileges at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital when cases are required to be performed in the ambulatory (outpatient) surgery center.

Erin. Position: Surgical Assistant. Erin has been a primary surgical assistant for over 5 years. She holds a bachelors degree in Biology from Elmhurst College and has been active in the dental profession for nearly 10 years. She has actively been involved in the alpha and beta testing of the Biomet 3i Navigator system as well as guided implant surgical therapy since 2004. Erin has assisted in thousands of oral surgery procedures and has been an essential element in patient care by serving as a dental surgical nurse for optimal patient outcomes. She leads the information technology department and is on the assistant staff with operating room privileges at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital when cases are required to be performed in the ambulatory (outpatient) surgery center.
Julie. Position: Surgical Assistant. Julie has been with the practice for over 2 years and is a highly skilled assistant in all forms of periodontal and implant surgery. In addition to her surgical assisting skills, she has recently completed her education in phlebotomy. She is a licensed phlebotomist in the State of Illinois and serves multiple roles in patient care, particularly during intravenous sedation care.
Maria. Position: Surgical Assistant. Maria is the newest addition to our staff but has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She is a surgical assistant for both doctors and is responsible for various types of patient care during her non surgical time.
Bobbie. Position: Periodontal Hygienist. Bobbie has been responsible for helping patients maintain their teeth for over 25 years. She is a world class periodontal hygienist who is responsible for educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and effectiveness as well as identifying many health problems such as diabetes, hypertension and oral cancer during every periodontal visit. She provides periodontal maintenance therapy, presurgical and post surgical hygiene therapy as well as non surgical periodontal therapy (scaling and root planing). She is an integral part of providing and maintaining oral health care for our patients. Bobbie responsibilities are primarily at our Advocate Lutheran General Hospital practice in Park Ridge, IL.
Sue. Position: Periodontal Hygienist. Sue has also been responsible for helping patients maintain their teeth for over 25 years. She too is a world class periodontal hygienist who is responsible for educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and effectiveness as well as identifying many health problems such as diabetes, hypertension and oral cancer during every periodontal visit. She provides periodontal maintenance therapy, presurgical and post surgical hygiene therapy as well as non surgical periodontal therapy (scaling and root planing). She is an integral part of providing and maintaining oral health care for our patients. Sue's responsibilities are primarily at our practice in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Both Sue and Bobbie are involved in continuing education and provide state of the art care for patients.
Janet. Position: Treatment and Correspondence Coordinator. Janet has been with the practice since its inception. She assists both Tammy and Charlotte in the patient coordinator and treatment facilitator divisions of our practice and handles all patient correspondence to referral offices.
Aleka. Position: Program Manager. Aleka has been involved with our practice for over 5 years and assists in the referral relations and education department. She is involved in all continuing education sponsored by the practice.
