Drs. Rosenfeld and Mandelaris are part of a head and neck oncology team at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital which includes us (periodontists), a medical oncologist, a radiation oncologist, and an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. It is critical that the head and neck cancer patients see us for a comprehensive oral and periodontal evaluation PRIOR to radiation and/or chemotherapy treatment so that post operative oral health complications can be minimized.
